Belljar

Belljar is an alternative rock band with songs ranging from moody to aggressive yet always with melody. The current line-up is Billy Irwin (drums), Clint van der Walt (vocals), Gawen Sueltz (guitar) and Ike Onwuagbu (bass).

The band achieves layered and textured guitar based music gravitating around the darker themes of experience.

Playing live is extremely important for Belljar as it is through this medium that the band can best communicate what they are about: aggressive, thoughtful and energetic rock with complete conviction.

The music speaks of themes that are as much contextual as they are universal: love, loss, anger, relationships and existence. It is always, first and foremost, about the music. The rest is shadow.
